Valerie Houkamau

Valerie is completing Law and Māori Studies degrees at the University of Otago. Her summer project looks at the impacts, legacies and effects of the Second World War on her people in Wharekāhika. Valerie is looking forward to listening, sharing, researching this historic era of events that occurred within her community of Wharekāhika.
